We understand that this is a difficult situation. In the event that an account holder passes, the customer must provide a death certificate (“overlijdensakte”) and (if applicable) the marriage certificate of the deceased.

You can request a change of address at any SETAR Teleshop.You will need to bring proof of registry of this new address (this can be obtained from Censo) and a valid identification document (ID, driver's license or passport).

Are you a new customer? If so, the following applies

New customers:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Hold permanent employment
  • Possess valid identification (ID card, driver’s license or passport)
  • Provide proof of income (i.e., payslips from the last two months, if a customer is paid every two weeks, the customer must provide the last four payslips, or a letter from the employer, indicating that the client holds a permanent position within the company).
  • Provide proof of residency/address (“bevolkingsuittreksel”: up-to-date document from the civil registry office confirming current address)
  • Must be free of debt with SETAR
  • Customers who hold work permits: Must comply with all requirements as listed above
  • Provide a copy of the valid work permit

Are you an existing customer:

  • Possess valid identification (ID card, driver’s license or passport)
  • Must be free of debt with SETAR
  • Customers who hold work permits: Must comply with all requirements as listed above
  • Provide a copy of the valid work permit

Yes, it's possible for you to arrange this through someone else. However you need to authorize them first. You can do this using one of the two authorization forms provided below.

As well as the completed authorization forms, the person you wish to authorize must also bring the following documents:

  • Valid identification document (ID, driver's license or passport) of the person requesting the authorization.
  • Valid identification document (ID, driver's license or passport) of the person being authorized.
  • If applicable, a valid work/residence permit for the person being authorized.

Additional requirements for business customers:
Proof of registration from the Chamber of Commerce, no older than 6 months.
